About Us
You are purchasing from a US company located in Los Angeles, California. Hardheaded Ram was created by an avid cyclist who realized that people spend thousands of dollars on a bike, and then end up skimping on the most important part of their bike by installing cheap unbranded brake pads. We’re here to solve that by providing quality brake pads for all types of bikes and riding styles. After months of research and testing, we have partnered with a respectable company in Taiwan that specializes in manufacturing brake pads, including for many brand name products. The rotors we carry are also manufactured in the same factory as the brake pads, so you can expect both our brake pads and rotors to work well with each other. All of our products will fit perfectly with brake systems of all brands, including: Avid, Campagnolo, Formula, Hayes, Hope, Magura, Shimano, Sram, Tektro, and more.

The Hardheaded Ram Difference
- We use ceramic fiber in all of our pads, so that they perform better under high temperatures.
- Our pads include copper fiber—instead of cheaper steel fiber—for better wear resistance and thermal conductivity.
- We use kevlar fiber to make our pads quieter by absorbing the vibration that causes loud braking noise.

It's a perfect fit to my L03A.
On 12/9 after having checked all the usual places I buy parts I googled Shimano L03a pads and after scrolling down past all the sites that i knew didn't have the pads I clicked on your site. I ordered two sets of pads but almost immediately after purchasing them I went to your home page and realized they weren't actual Shimano pads so I looked for a way to cancel the order. I tried the phone number listed but the answering message was so garbled that I couldn't understand the company name so I sent an email to you requesting that the order be cancelled. I also contacted my credit card company and cancelled the purchase with them. The next morning I got an email from you saying that the pads had been shipped but when I checked the tracking link I found out that only the shipping label had created so I sent another email to you requesting that you cancel the order and to not ship the pads and also that I had cancelled the purchase through my credit card. Late on 12/13 the package arrived and I wrote "Refused, return to sender" on it and sent it back to you by USPS. I have not had any message from you except this request for a review. What kind of review did you expect? You don't respond to my emails; and you sent the pads even though I tried twice to cancel. If I could give you less than a "1" I would have.
These pads scream like a tortured banshee. It's so bad I've had to brake using my rear (stock) brakes at any opportunity I could get away with. They also shudder, which some may suggest is due an to incorrect bedding process but I can assure you it's not. First ride I did 10 x gentle controlled braking at 10 mph, 15 mph and 20 mph. First 50 miles no hard rapid braking. Man I can't wait to for OEM pads to come back in stock.
fit & work well.
